Kedmon Nyasha Hungwe grew up in the then Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). His late father served as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Methodist Church for forty years, planting churches and establishing new schools. His life of service has been a strong influence in his outlook. He has a deep appreciation of the transformative role of the church in society. It is therefore not a surprise that he found himself drawn to study the work of TB Joshua when he became acquainted with his remarkable ministry. In writing this book, he draws on the extensive knowledge and skills gained as an academic scholar. With respect to his education, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with joint majors in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe. He earned a teaching qualification and taught for some years in Zimbabwean schools. Additionally, he has two graduate degrees, and currently holds the position of full professor, at Michigan Technological University. His areas of research and teaching are Education and Psychology.  Dr. Hungwe visited TB Joshua’s ministry headquarters in Lagos Nigeria three times and was able to meet with the Prophet each of the visits. TB Joshua was remarkably accessible to people from all backgrounds and social standing. It has been a wonderful privilege to be able to tell the story of his ministry.
